This is an exciting opportunity to enter a growing business in a role that will enable you to learn the business through the technical and production side then grow into a position with a sales side.

 

The business is our regions leader in custom stainless steel design and manufacture to many diverse industries. The business also houses the areas largest specialist water cutting machine. We are looking for a mechanically minded person who is willing to learn the business and grow with it. We want someone with the ability to work the computer program / work with clients / but also has the ability to work in production when required to get the job done. Working day shift only the role will initially entail:

  • Estimating
  • Programming the cutting machine
  • Liaising with clients and production
  • Working the machine
  • Some customer service / sales

 

You will need to show the following to be successful in application:

  • Trade or Mechanical Background
  • Experience working with drawings (preferably a CAD style program)
  • Estimating experience
  • Computer Literate with MS Office
  • Have a clean safety record
  • An ability to communicate with clients and team mates
  • Have the right attitude to grow in the role

 

You will be rewarded with a great rate and conditions that wil expand with you as the role grows. Initially you will be employed by Hunter Recruitment Group under our Temp 2 Perm program meaning that you will be offered a permanent role with the company direct after 6 month trial. Starting flat rate of $33 – $38 plus super for the right person.
